Post-war housing in the Netherlands was commissioned by the Rijksmuseum as part of it's yearly assignments to photographers. Aim is to use the modern medium of photography to show the development of the Dutch society to future generations.
The first assignment was given in 1975. Post-war housing was published in 1986 as an catalogue to accompany the exhibition that same year. It was the first assignment in which colour photography was used.
